EDUKASI HIPNOBREASTFEEDING PADA IBU MENYUSUI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRODUKSI ASI

ABSTRAK

Data Provinsi Kepulauan Riau tahun 2022 menyebutkan bahwa Cakupan Asi Ekskusif sebesar 72,8% lebih tinggi dari cakupan asi ekskusif nasional yaitu 67,96%. Namun demikian, Kota Tanjungpinang yang merupakan ibukota Provinsi Kepulauan Riau masih di bawah angka nasional yaitu sebesar 63,9 Salah  satu  cara  yang  dapat membantu dalam mengatasi hambatan  dalam pemberian air susu ibu adalah dengan melakukan teknik hypnobreastfeeding dengan tujuan memperlancar produksi ASI. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu menyusui terkait teknik hypnobreastfeeding. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini dimulai dari tahap persiapan, sosialisasi dan pelaksanaan edukasi, dengan sebelumnya dilakukan pretest dan posttest untuk evaluasi. Dari hasil plaksanaan pemberian edukasi tersebut diketahui pengetahuan peserta meningkat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berjalan dengan baik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk membantu ibu dalam mendapatkan pengetahuan terkait hypnobreastfeeding untuk meningkatkan produksi ASI. Antusiasme ibu muda terlihat sangat tinggi dan menghasilkan tekad yang kuat untuk dapat memberikan ASI eksklusif dengan baik kepada bayi-bayi mereka. Tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan ini 82%, dinilai dari tanggapan dan pertanyaan dari para peserta.

ABSTRACT

Data from the Riau Islands Province in 2022 stated that the Exclusive Breastfeeding Coverage was 72.8% higher than the national exclusive breastfeeding coverage of 67.96%. However, Tanjungpinang City, which is the capital of the Riau Islands Province, is still below the national figure of 63.9. One way that can help overcome obstacles in providing breast milk is to carry out the hypnobreastfeeding technique with the aim of facilitating breast milk production. This community service activity is to increase the knowledge of breastfeeding mothers regarding the hypnobreastfeeding technique. The method used in this service starts from the preparation stage, socialization and implementation of education, with a pretest and posttest previously carried out for evaluation. From the results of the implementation of the education, it is known that the participants' knowledge has increased. The community service activity went well. This service activity was carried out to help mothers gain knowledge related to hypnobreastfeeding to increase breast milk production. The enthusiasm of young mothers was very high and resulted in a strong determination to be able to provide exclusive breastfeeding properly to their babies. The success rate of this activity is 82%, assessed from the responses and questions of the participants.
